I love strong shapes and bold colors and the way nature and the man-made world connect.  I never tire of painting pathways cutting through the woods. Spending time each day in the woods with my dog has definitely influenced my work. From a very young age I have been inspired to grab a pencil or a paintbrush to capture something I find interesting.  My goal is to portray my subject as beautiful, intriguing and utterly pleasing to the eye and to the spirit.
